# Choose a model

> Find models by task, input type, capabilities, and price. Review results in a list or table, save favorites, and compare models before trying them.

Use the [model catalog](https://aihubmix.com/models) to find a model for your task. Search by name when you know what you need, or use [smart search](/en/guides/smart-search) to describe your requirements.

1. Choose a task type, such as text, image, or video.
2. Enter a model name or ID and submit your search.
3. Narrow the results by author, input type, capabilities, context, or price.
4. Open a model's details to check its capabilities, version, and pricing. Then copy its ID or open it in Playground.

| Filter | How selections combine |
| - | - |
| Authors | A model can match any selected author |
| Input types and capabilities | A model must match every selected option |
| Tags | Any tag within a group; all selected groups must match |
| Context and price ranges | Use the displayed units; leave a bound empty for no limit |

Different filters apply together. For example, selecting image input and tool calling keeps models labeled with both capabilities. A missing label does not necessarily mean a capability is unsupported; check the details before integrating.

* **List / Table**: Change the layout while keeping your filters and sort order.
* **Sort**: Use popularity, listing time, price, context, or the performance metrics offered on the page. A missing metric appears as `-` and should not be compared as zero.
* **Versions**: Expand a model's versions and check the exact ID you intend to call.
* **Favorites**: Sign in and select the star to save a model for later.

Text prices are usually per million tokens. Images, video, and audio may use per-image, per-second, or other units. Check the unit and pricing tier before comparing. See [model details and comparison](/en/guides/model-details).

Active filters appear above the results. Remove them individually or clear them together. Sharing the current URL preserves the filters encoded in it; returning from a model's details lets you continue browsing your results.

On mobile, open the filter panel, make your changes, and select **Apply**. Canceling or closing the panel discards changes you have not applied.

Remove price or context limits first, then reduce input and capability requirements. An empty result keeps your filters available for adjustment. If loading fails, retry. You can also search again using the exact model ID.
