# Notification settings

> Configure low-balance and model alerts, choose web, email, or webhook delivery, and understand saving changes and essential account notifications.

Open [Notifications](https://console.aihubmix.com/notifications) in the console to choose the events you want to follow and how to receive them.

<h2 id="enable-alert">
  Enable an alert
</h2>

1. Open an alert type and enable it.
2. Set its conditions and choose delivery methods.
3. Select **Save changes**. The settings take effect when saving succeeds.

Opening the details or seeing preselected delivery methods does not enable an alert. Optional rules you have never configured start off; existing settings keep your choices.

| Alert | Scope and settings |
| - | - |
| Low balance | Alerts when your balance falls below a USD threshold; provide an email address. Email is required |
| New model | Alerts when a new model becomes available; covers all models |
| Model deprecation | Retirement information for models called in the last 30 days |
| Model price change | Models called in the last 30 days; choose any change, increases, or drops |
| Account security and access | Essential notifications that remain enabled |

The low-balance threshold accepts **$0.01–$1,000,000**, with up to two decimal places. Deprecation and price alerts use the fixed 30-day usage scope; you do not need to select individual models.

* **Web notifications**: Receive alerts while signed in to the console.
* **Email**: Low-balance alerts use the address you enter; model alerts use your account email.
* **Webhook**: Select a saved [notification destination](/en/console/notification-webhooks) for your team or service.

An enabled rule needs at least one valid delivery method. Low-balance alerts must retain email. Essential security and access notifications use their required delivery methods and do not offer optional third-party forwarding.

<h2 id="save-and-disable">
  Save, disable, or discard
</h2>

Closing an alert drawer keeps your draft; select **Save changes** to apply it. Select **Discard** to restore the last saved settings.

After you disable an optional rule and save, its selected delivery methods stop sending alerts for that rule. Its conditions remain available for next time. Inbox history and public announcements remain accessible.

If saving fails, your draft stays available. Resolve the reported issue and retry. If settings changed elsewhere, reload the latest settings before confirming your edits again.
