# Inbox

> Read model news, product updates, and account notifications. Understand notification dots and seen status, then follow message actions to resolve issues.

Select the bell to open your **Inbox** and review updates and account messages in one place.

  Read messages
</h2>

The inbox opens to **All**, with the newest messages first. Select a category to narrow the list and scroll to read older messages.

| Models | Model launches, price changes, and retirements |
| Changelog | New features, improvements, and important fixes |
| System | Notifications for the current account and system announcements; sign-in required |

Follow a message's action to view a model, read an update, or address an account issue. Public pages show only public messages when you are signed out.

  Dots and seen status
</h2>

* **Blue dot**: Ordinary updates you have not viewed.
* **Red dot**: System notifications you have not viewed; takes priority over blue.
* New messages successfully displayed in **All** update their seen status. A loading failure does not clear the indicator early.

You can still read messages after viewing them. Viewing or dismissing a notification does not add credits, restore a key, or resolve an account issue. Follow the message's action to address it.

  Choose how to receive alerts
</h2>

Use [notification settings](/en/console/notifications) to choose which events should reach you through web notifications, email, or webhooks. Turning off optional alerts does not delete message history or disable public announcements.

Essential account security and access notifications remain enabled. You can read routine product updates in the inbox without enabling an extra alert for each one.

<h2 id="troubleshooting">
  If messages do not load
</h2>

Select **Retry** and check that you are signed in to the intended account. System notifications belong to the account; switching accounts does not carry over private messages from the previous one.
